I started doing yoga when my youngest son left home because I wanted to do something for me as I’d spent much of my adult life focusing on my children, I deserved a little ‘me time’ . I initially wanted an interest to occupy me and was attracted to the physical side of yoga but as I had already dabbled in meditation and mindfulness, yoga was the perfect exercise routine for me.
I have been practicing regularly ever since and couldn’t imagine life without yoga. I find that when I am on my mat my mind calms and my body feels really strong. I leave a practice feeling happy, relaxed and always grateful for what I’ve achieved. I decided to train as a teacher because I wanted to be able to share this and help others find their happy.
